These terms and conditions govern all services provided by Sort Society ABN 25 900 956 344. By booking a service with Sort Society, you agree to the following terms. Sort Society reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
A consultation is required prior to booking any service. Consultations are $70 and run for approximately 30–45 minutes in your home. The $70 consultation fee will be fully deducted from the cost of your service at the time of booking. If you choose not to proceed with a service following your consultation, the consultation fee is non-refundable.
All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as agreed at the time of booking. Pricing is as listed on our website or as quoted during your consultation. Payment is due within 48 hours of your session being completed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We understand that life happens. We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. We will always do our best to accommodate you, however cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in that session being forfeited from your package. Sort Society reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances and will provide as much notice as possible.
Service pricing covers time, labour, and expertise only. Storage products and organisational supplies are not included in the service fee. Where Sort Society sources or purchases products on your behalf, all costs will be invoiced separately and are payable in addition to the service fee. You will always be informed of estimated product costs prior to purchase and are under no obligation to proceed.
Optional add-on services such as charity/Salvos runs and dump/tip runs are available at an additional cost. Pricing for add-ons is as listed on our website. Dump and tip run costs include a flat service fee plus the actual cost of the dump charge, which may vary. All add-ons must be agreed upon prior to or during the session.
Maintenance Visits are available to existing Sort Society clients only. To be eligible, Maintenance Visits must be booked within 12 weeks of the completion of your initial session. Sort Society reserves the right to decline Maintenance Visit bookings outside of this window.
Clients are asked to be present for the first 30–45 minutes of each session to provide direction on what to keep, donate, or discard. Sort Society will not be held responsible for items discarded or donated based on client direction. We ask that clients disclose any fragile, valuable, or sentimental items prior to the session so they can be handled with appropriate care.
Sort Society takes the utmost care when working in your home. In the unlikely event of accidental damage, please notify us within 24 hours of the session. Sort Society’s liability is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for any pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items damaged due to their condition prior to the session.
Sort Society collects personal information (name, contact details, address) solely for the purpose of providing our services. We will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent. Before and after photos may be taken for our own records and, with your explicit permission, used for marketing purposes such as social media.
Sort Society may request permission to photograph completed spaces for use on our website and social media. Your permission will always be sought prior to any photos being shared publicly. You are under no obligation to consent and this will not affect the quality of service you receive.
